TABLE OF CONTENTS
1 Overview
Immersive Reader is a reading assistant from Microsoft designed to help people with reading and learning difficulties understand text. It is also useful for anyone learning a new language.
In itslearning, Immersive Reader helps students better understand content and work more independently by making text more accessible and allowing students to personalise their reading experience.

- Background colour — change the background colour for improved readability.
- Font size and text spacing — adjust font size and spacing between words and lines.
- Syllable splitting — splits words into syllables to aid reading.
- Parts of speech — highlights nouns, verbs, and other parts of speech in the text.
- Line focus — highlights specific lines to reduce distractions while reading.
