360° Reports – Progress Report (Teacher)

TABLE OF CONTENTS

The Progress report shows how well students are completing activities such as assignments, tests, and tasks across the course, and the amount of time they spend on their work and reading resources. Progress on mandatory and optional work can be compared against class averages.

Note: In the context of 360° Reports, activities are elements that usually have an assessment or grade (assignments, tests, surveys, tasks, and learning tool extensions with an assessment scale). Manual assessments and LTI tools are excluded. Resources are elements that can be viewed or read (files, lessons, links, notes, and some learning tool elements).

You will find the Progress report inside the Reports tab in your course, under 360° Reports.

Note: For courses with more than 1000 participants, the report summary and export are hidden and you can only sort by name.

Student list

The student list shows only students who are active in the course. It does not list students who have left the course. If you have course groups set up, you can filter the view to show only members of those groups.

For each student, the following is displayed:

  • Activities progress – the total number of activities the student has completed, divided by the total number of active (not deleted) activities the student can participate in.
  • Resources progress – the number of active resources the student has read at least once, divided by the number of active resources available to the student.

Hover over a student's activities or resources bar to see the total number of items and those that have been completed or visited.

Course elements

This section lists all elements, shown by default in their course folders and sub-folders. For each element, you can see:

ColumnDescription
StatusCompleted, open, read, or not read. The colour of the tick and cross icons corresponds with the overall progress section. For example, an element marked in orange was completed after the deadline.
Last visit dateThe date when the student last viewed the element. This may not be the date they submitted an assessment.
Time onlineAn approximate indication of the time spent on the element. If your school has opted out of tracking time online for elements, this column will not appear.
DetailsExtended information from assessment items (such as the grade) and SCORM elements (grade, status). For SCORM elements that track time, the duration reported by the SCORM package is shown in the Time online column.

You can filter the list by element type (e.g. assignment, test, page) and by status (e.g. read, complete, incomplete).
