Notifications and weekly updates

Teachers can send messages to students directly from 360° Reports and opt in to receive weekly course activity summaries.


1 Send a message to students

You can send messages to students in your courses directly from 360° Reports to keep them up to date with their progress and activity.

To send a message:

  1. Select the student you want to send the message to.
  2. Click the send message icon (the "airplane" icon).
  3. A "Send message" window will appear. Write your message and click Send.

2 Weekly updates

Teachers can opt in to receive weekly updates on course activity. Once you have opted in, you will receive a weekly summary as a message delivered to your desktop or mobile app.

  • You can opt in or out at any time.
  • The message contains a link to the 360° Report where you can view the report or change the notification setting.
  • You can choose from which courses to receive updates.
  • Once a course is archived or removed, no more messages will be sent.
  • Following GDPR best practice, you need to opt in to receive updates.
  • This is a one-click process. Updates are sent at the weekend, so they will be ready at the start of the working week.

Tip: The weekly update must be enabled by your system administrator before the option appears. If you do not see the notification settings, contact your administrator.
