360° Reports – Resources Summary (Teacher)
Resources summary report
The Resources Summary Report shows how many students have accessed each course resource and how much time they have spent on each resource.
Access the report from the Reports tab in your course, under 360° Reports, then select Resource summary.
This report helps teachers to:
- See at a glance how well students are using resources.
- Identify which resources students are looking at and spending time on.
- See which students are viewing which resources.
- Use the information to refine and improve course resources.
1 Report overview
The report lists all course elements with the following information for each:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Element | The name of the course element, shown in its folder structure. |
| Status | How many students have accessed the element out of the total number of students, and whether the element is open or not active. |
| Total time spent | The total time all students have spent on the element. |
| Completion | Click "View details" to see which individual students have visited the element, how many times, and when. |
| Details | Whether the element is mandatory and the average result (for assessable elements). |
You can filter the list by element type and by visibility using the Type and Show drop-downs. You can also switch between Course content and Plan content views.
2 Completion details
Click View details on any element to see a breakdown per student. The completion details panel shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Student | The student's name. |
| Status | Whether the student has visited the element or not. |
| Number of visits | How many times the student has visited the element. |
| Last visit date | The date the student last accessed the element. |

Note: This report is only visible if your organisation has activated 360° Reports. Consult your system administrator if you are unsure. The "Time on task" column is hidden for courses with more than 1300 participants.
