When users, courses, communities, or terms are deleted, they are transferred to the trash can, where they are stored in quarantine until permanently deleted. Items marked with a star are in quarantine, but this only applies to elements in the course's trash can. Administrators can search for, restore, or permanently delete items from the trash can.
Be aware that items placed in the site or course trash cans can only be permanently deleted once the quarantine period has elapsed.
