Yes. Within the course settings there is an option for the course to be accessible in a course catalog.
There are three options for registration:
Course overview >More > Settings > Course Properties and Features.
- Approval into the course by the course creator (he/she would receive an internal email notification)
- A registration key must be entered for approval
- Students may freely register themselves within the course without approval. This is only available in the local catalogue (you will find this setting in Course properties and features).
